Motorcycle & ATV Hydraulic Systems Flush
Brake & Clutch fluid can go bad.
Hydraulic brake & clutch fluids have the ability to absorbs moisture from the air, which protects the internal components of your brake and clutch systems. Over time this moisture that is trapped in the hydraulic fluid reduces its performance.
For that reason, it's best practice to change brake & clutch fluid every two years & as a general rule you should check the fluid level and quality every 100 km or every month.
When brake fluid becomes saturated with moisture it will overheat and can cause the brakes to bind or stick.
When brake fluid overheats it will boil & get air bubbles in it. Air in the brake line means the brakes will not apply when you need them! Binding or sticking brakes will cause the pads to wear prematurely & overheat the brake rotors possibly causing them to warp. In extreme cases sticking brakes can lock up when applied.
Special procedures are needed when bleeding motorcycle brakes especially when it comes to "ABS" (Anti-Lock Brake Systems) or "Linked Brake" systems. The condition, quality & grade of the hydraulic brake & clutch fluid is critical to the safety of your bike!
Our technicians will drain and flush your hydraulic brake & clutch fluid. We check the operation of your brake system and use only manufactures recommended grade hydraulic fluids!
